    Same problem for me...
    I used chmod AND chown on the /dev/sgX device to use my AGFA scsi scanner !
    But it's only working for the current session...

    Same problem for me after upgrade from karmic to lucid !
    But no problem with a fresh new install of lucid lynx... to bad !

    I hope someone will fond where is the problem...
